Google ......muscular fasciculation.
Oh thanks sqad!

Now you are worrying us, just when the medics have said not to worry.
Panic Button........as an isolated symptom iy is "no big deal" and quite innocent, but combined with other symptoms, it might take on a more sinister significance.
I think therefore that an encouragement to see the GP would have been wiser, rather than direction to links that lead to Motor Neorone Disease.
I have those, mine are caused by acid reflux.

I've had this since I was little. It was a lot worse while I was pregnant last year and I saw a cardiologist. Sometimes I could feel my heart stop for a few seconds, then kind of flutter as if it was catching up. Turned out I have a small leak in a valve that had been exacerbated by my heart having to work harder at the time. Doc said nothing at all to worry about unless there's ever any pain or breathlessness.
I get it occasionally but because it doesn't hurt (feels quite pleasant actually) I've never worried about it-
UNTIL NOW!
