In last night's Emmerdale, one of Betty's co-cleaners is the very irritating lecherous blind woman. (No protests please - just cos she's blind don't mean she can't be annoying or have desires....).
Anyway - I thought - how can you be an efficient cleaner when you're blind?
How do you know what's dirty in the first place?
How do you know you've got something clean & got in all the nooks & crannies?

I'm being quite serious here - I mean, God forbid if I were blind, my first career choice wouldn't be a cleaner would it?

we had a blind man come round our house, and he was quite dirty.
he kept climbing his ladder to measure the windows and look down my wifes top.

Was he just pretending to be collecting for the blind Ankou?

I'm not being facaetious or laughing at the blind craft, honestly.
It was a genuine thought that occurred to me last night while I was watching it.
I mean, in your own house, it wouldn't really be too much of a problem would it - but would a factory pay you wages to be a cleaner? Seriously? I know there's the Discrimination Act & all that, but.....
noooo salla I meant to Ankou's response......it's the old joke about the blind man as in blinds salesman...

Oh!!!!!!!!!!!!! Derr................... and I'm supposed to be intelligent?
Now that's up for debate xx
Braille dirt?
Question Author
But how would you know braille dirt from, say, mouse droppings?
(Although - either would need cleaning up, wouldn't it).
Mmmm, still not convinced.
I've asked this before but never got an answer. Who picks up the poo of a guide dog?
Question Author
Maybe guide dogs are trained not to poo in public places?

Question Author
