I've only ever had a sky+ box, got it for free but pay £16.50 per month for the subscription

It used to be an extra tenner for recording rights or something, I think they have dropped that now, we have 2 sky+ boxes and just upgraded 1 to HD, we have to pay an extra tenner for the HD now, is it worth it, hell yeah

You have to pay for the box though (£30-40 i think), as opposed to getting it for free if you get the basic Sky.

Might be confusing this wth Sky HD which I believe works out at £10 month extra - for most/all HD channels (BBC HD ,SKY HD etc).

Not including cost of new box or installation
