Geography sites

Sorry, that just suddenly whizzed on by mistake. I wanted to ask which section I should post about good geographical sites for general knowledge and it just suddenly posted by my unfortunately random click of the wrist. I still can't see where geographical questions should be though, so any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Education? Travel? Depends what sort of sites you have in mind. CB is ok but you may get more specialist answers in other topics.

Well, thank you for answering as I was a bit bemused when it suddenly clicked up on the screen!
What I am really looking for is a good general knowledge website but with general geographical info, and I was a bit surprised that there was a history section and not a geography section.
It was mainly for educational purposes (at home) so all I can really find is the BBC, The National Geographic and Geographic Kids and not much else suitable for anyone with general interests and kids under GCSE level.
I was just wondering if not many people are interested in geography any more or if there is more focus on saving the Planet, etc.
