A couple of hundred quid I would have thought. Probably not worth the hassle or expense given that it must be a few years old by now and you can pick up a new machine with a much better spec for not a lot more than that. What makes you think the mobo's knackered? Are you sure it isn't something else?

Well the guy that has it atm says it's the motherboard and he just rang to say he can get the part for £75 so that makes me thing it's maybe part of the Mobo? Yea?
The laptop was closed and fizzy juice got spilled on it, and it wouldn't come on obviously.. And he says it's the Mobo.. So thts all i'm aware of atm ! xx
