Removing Vinyl Tiles - Sticky Floor

Can anyone tell me how I might remove the sticky residue left by vinyl tiles on a wooden floor please?  Luckily there's only a couple of sq. metres!

Try a heatgun or if you have a really hot hair dryer,when heated scrape off with a paint scraperand clean up with white spirit

Thanks RAYMAN.  I've actually been having a go with a scraper & white spirit but hadn't thought of the hairdryer!
cover with tin foil, put your iron on maximum heat (not steam) and move it slowly over for a minute or two.
