Firefox - speed it up with vacuuming
Just recently come across this extension
Vacuum Places Improved 1: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/13878
which does seem to make a noticeable improvement to the browser speed (without doing any harm - so far). I'd be interested to know if other people find it makes a difference.
(There is also Vacuum Places 0.2 https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/13824 but presumably this has now been superceded)
