0845 plus call set up fee each time

Hello I want to ring a phone number for a competition and it says:

"you will be charged the same for this number as other 0845 numbers - the precise amount depends on the price plan you have with your current operator. Usually bt (thats who I am with) charges 0.5p per min plus a call set up fee of 7p."

This is actually classed as a 'web free entry' as apposed to calling the premium number which is a �1 total call cost. You get a pin number online you key in the phone.

It seems cheaper the 'free' version but that would depend how long I was on hold I suppose, something to keep an eye on.

I wanted to know if anyone had come across the 0845 0.5p per min plus 7p set up fee before, and is there something unsavoury about it that I don't know.??

Web free entry means you log onto a website and put your answer.

All of these entries are then disregarded as the whole point of these premium line competitions is to make money. That's why the questions are so easy.

this is a free entry yes it sounds weird and yes I would have thought the same as you free means free but this is a phone call in live game show, and they ask questions of you live on tv. So you fill this brief form in get a pin number given to you, then when the shows on tv you ring the 0845 number as appossed to the 0901 �1 number and insert the pin number. They dont say what happens after that, you probably dont get through. I have already won �25 the other night so I wondered if I could save money going the 'free web entry' route??
