What product contains hydrogen peroxide in a 3-6 % dilution ? I'm thinking of making my own PCB etching solution and have found out that this can be done with muriatic acid in a 30 ish % dilution (as commonly sold) and hydrogen peroxide found i believe in mouth washes or hair bleachs. now i'm not about to walk into a chemist and scare them todeath by asking for a chemical (that they will probably think is for a bomb) and i don't want to spend weeks in there examining every bottle....

Why not use Ferric Chloride, easily available from electronic component suppliers?
I buy H2O2 from my local chemist. 200ml bottle of 6% solution for about 1. Made by Thornton &Ross.
You can dye your hair with it or dissolve the wax in your ears with it. My father used to put it on open cuts, etc. to fizz the dirt out.
If you want a 3% solution just add the same quantity of water.
If the chemist asks what you want it for tell them you want to try and clean an ink cartridge for a printer. I did.

yea sounds like its comonly used, things is if its mixed with muriatic acid it will make a very good PCB etching solution and will regenerate itself when enough air has got to it so its practically infinitly reusable and so I would not have to kep disposing of harmful chemicals
