...who listens to Paolo Nutini's track on his new album entitled 'Pencil Full of Lead' not to sway their hips, or tap their feet, or generally jiffle around (or all 3). It is the most uplifting song I've heard in a long time - it should have been released as THE summer song of 2009 - not too late, we're still awaiting summer aren't we?!

It's reminiscent of Baloo's song Bare Necessities from Jungle Book - but don't let that put you off! Honest.

But, I've tried to do a link to Pencil full of Lead Live on you-tube and just can't get it to work. Can someone help - I really want to praise this song & promote it to a wider audience. Please? xx

It's a fantastic album - It's so diverse - reggae, Bob Dylanesque tracks, ragtime, soul. I also love Candy and Coming up Easy and 10/10.

You're welcome sallabananas, I was on youtube anyway. Yep its a right good mix of different styles. Candy is a beautiful song and there's some good dancey ones too. I think he's reminiscent of Lonnie Donegan in some of the songs lol, Now he's a blast from the past but I can hear the influence.
