I went in October and whilst the days were pretty warm the evenings were chilly so bring cardigans/sweaters
you can sometimes get stormy weather at that time of the year as the summer's accumulated hot air over the Med lifts up and sucks in winds... but mostly it should still be warm and sunny. I was there late last November and it was freeeeezing. It shouldn't be in October, but a fleece for night wear might be a good idea.
I once went in October and had one day sunbathing - it was raining and windy the rest of the time. The nights were quite cold.
Have you thought about Cyprus? It's nice & warm there in october.
