When I boot up I get popups for AVG Network scanner and Prevalence Reporter, both wanting access to the internet.
I allow them both, but they don't seem to do anything.
I understand Prevalence reporter should highlight which websites are good and which are dubious, but I get no ticks or any other markings on either Firefox or MS Internet Explorer.
What should these systems be doing, and how do I get them to do it please?

Thanks for the lead, but have gone through the site, backwards and forwards, and can only find 1 reference to Prevalence reporter which does not answer my question.
Maybe I missed something.
This program should, apparently, tick results of a search with green or grey ticks to say which sites are safe.
I don't get this with either Firefox or MS Internet Explorer - so what am I doing wrong Please?
