I know this is probably something simple but hope someone can help. I have just had to use my hubby's laptop and the print on screen was larger than mine which was wonderful. With my failing eyesight can someone tell me it is possible to enlarge the print on mine. Thanks for your help.

Thank you Androcles, very helpful.
If running Vista, just above the clock is a zoom button.
If you're just referring to web browsing, press Ctrl and + simultaneously to enlarge text. (Press Ctrl and - to make it smaller. Press Ctrl and 0 to return it to the default size). Alternatively, you can adjust the text size via the View menu.

If you want to enlarge the way things are displayed in general, the easiest way is to select a slightly lower screen resolution. Right-click on the desktop. Select 'Properties' and 'Settings'. Adjust the resolution slider a bit to the left. Click 'Apply' and 'OK'.
