can someone let me know what the "service number" is that should be set up on my phone to allow me to send text messages!?

with out this i am unable to send them, and have no idea why it is not on my phone anymore.

I'm with Orange, do you mean the number for help etc, if so its 150 from your mobile.
not really sure what you mean by the service number, never had to call it, or what its for.

get orange web page and get your mms service sent free to your phone it will set up your messaging service on you -go to mobiles help and support---

You may have lost your message centre number. To check this, you should enter the text messaging options on your phone. The message centre number should be 07973 100973.

ah, thats the one. thanks alan. i knew it was something like that number, as its happened to me before. just couldnt remember the order they were in.
