Re: Conference Administrator Vacancy

I am writing to apply for the above vacancy and enclose an up to date copy of my CV.

I have 5 years admin experience as well as some customer service experience. I have good keyboard and computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as a polite telephone manner.

My strengths are having a keen eye for detail, being enthusiastic and I am also a fast learner.

The idea of organising conferences appeals to me as I enjoy being organised and efficient and this role would give me the opportunity to utilize and develop my skills further. I enjoy knowing my individual effort contributes to the success of a company as part of a team.

I am currently living in ________ but am looking to relocate to _______ as soon as possible.

I hope you will consider me for this role and I look forward to hearing from you shortly.

Yours sincerely,

_______

Any particular type of potato, whiffs?

Anyhoo, shurrrup. She's only asking for advice.
Why is "relocate" posh? It is 100% bull$hite in every single case. There is NEVER an instance where relocate is preferable to move. Unless you want to end up in a boring office job with a load of jargon-bound morons.

It Is MOVE, it is never RELOCATE.
