I've had an itchy bumhole for months. No matter how hard i scratch (it is strangely quite a satisfying feeling) the itch never seems to go away. I don't want to see the doc because he's already seen me for other symptons on my other regions!!

Hi, B00.

Sounds like the "knobbies" to me.
snags/DEN......one wife, one dog, devoted to his work........yes you are both right.
sorry homedeeth for hijacking your post - I do hope you get your 'itchy' problem sorted soon. good luck xx
Go to your GP. Don't waste money on off the shelf remedies. Proctosydel is the stuff you need - prescription only though. Works a treat!!!
You lot should stay on Chatterbank
I can't say bimhule ... just can't seem to get my tongue round it
, does it itch more at night time? if so youve probably got worms which is very common especially if you have children, ive lost count of the times me and my family have had them. Ask for OVEX at the chemist. one tablet and your done!

Just a suggestion, after passing motions, wipe with toilet paper then clean your hole area with Andrex wet wipes, your problem could just be old dried poo, Paper alone doesn't always get it all. I used to get very itchy down there but ever since I've been using wet wipes it has improve considerably. Then if it doesn't improve, see your doc.
And as for snags, sqad and DEN, we're here to help not gass on about only you know what!
Actually angiealf - I did answer homedeeth's question with some good advice, because I have had the same problem !!

I did apologise to homedeeth for hijacking their post with some playful, harmless banter. Sorry it offended you !!!!!
