Can anyone tell me what happens under UK law if the buyer in a consumer contract dies after the cancellation period but before the delivery date. The seller has advised the deceased's family that materials have been procured and is demanding the sale price of the materials from the deceased's family.

Technically they are still entitled to payment and can ask for the contract to be paid from the deceaseds estate. i.e any savings, sale of the deceased house, car, shares etc.
