Does anyone have any experience of this denture? I have been advised to have one, but need some feedback. Many thanks.

Yes I have one,They are quite expensive but well worth it. I used to have a normal top denture but because I have a very shallow pallette it was constantly breaking so I was advised to have the metal one & I have had it for 4 years now with no problems.
These type of partial dentures are better than the acrylic ones as they are lighter and stronger. If you are having both upper and lower partials then you will need to allow yourself time to get used to them. Just upper partials usually are no problem at all but as the lower jaw is constantly moving then the lower denture must be a snug fit otherwise irritaion may cause some discomfort. Talk to your dentist if you proceed and tell him of any concerns you may have and definately return if your partials are causing any major discomfort. I've had my partials for 25 years(different ones) and am very pleased. I eat almost everything even pork scratchings.
