Our cat has become very grumpy. She is still quite young, but seems to have taken over our whole lives. She eats the best cat food money can buy, & yet it seems she tolerates us from a distance. She used to be great company, but now is so highly strung. Any ideas as to why she has had a personality change?

Lamb of God- I sympathize with you on this situation...cats are not like dogs, in that, when they become the 'dominant one', it is much more difficult to correct the strange, and sometimes, freakish nature... I think that you certainly have a dominance problem...you have spoiled your cat (which is fine by all means), but your cat is spoiled to the point that she believes she has control over you now, and she will take advantage of that by behaving any way she pleases...you must take control again! (but do it in a loving way of course)...and get your companion lap-cat back...check out this link...I think this will help you...
