I have been having problems with my Roxio Burnware lately and someone said that I could use on Windows XP the Windows Media Player to do the same thing?

All I want to do is to put some of the photos(not all) which I have in My Docs onto a disc.

Now, I went into Media Player as instructed and clicked on 'burn' and a pane came up saying 'put blank disc into computer' and beneath that wa a message 'drag items here to create play list'.....but how do I get the photos from My Docs onto Media Player in firt place!! I am losing the plot here - or have I got it all wrong.

In simple terms please.

Thanks all

If all you want to do is put photos onto a disc, you can just copy and paste them from My Computer. All you are doing is copying the files so you do not need to use Media Player which deals with Ripping Music from CDs and burning Music onto CDs.

So - Open My Computer. Put a Blank Disc in your CD drive.
Select the items you want to copy and click on copy. Then click on the CD drive and click paste.

This is how I do mine..
Open My Pictures (or My Documents, wherever you keep your photos)
Click 'create a new folder' in the left hand panel.
Drag the photos you want to copy to the new folder.
Right click on folder - send to D drive (or whatever drive your cd is).
That's it.
