Wouldn't it be nice if there was a polite note on the home page asking ABers to please try not to use text speak as it annoys the hell out of Robinia?!! - oops sorry got a bit carried away there - I mean as it really isn't necessary on here, & the more mature users haven't got a clue what it says. I don't suppose it will ever happen but I'm in grumpy mode today.

acw, I've posted all I want to post in that thread - I won't post again as it's just a flipping wind up. Ignore them, I was also accused in the same posting of being M****B (asterisks are mine). It is not worth the fret. It's kool kitty getting all the stick in the long run.

Hi Robinia you grump! I reluctantly agree. When I say reluctantly, I try to keep up with the times but as has been said, whilst practical when a message costs, I fear it's becoming a habit and spelling and grammer are suffering. I also dislike those faces that get put on the end of messages because i don't think they really express emotions. Happy Sunday all, (when you get up!) Now, where to find Kool Kitty...

( :) graemer you miserable sod( :)lol.my sons just got a place in cambridge and hes tops when it comes to maths and yes he uses text speak acw and no he isnt thick.And to be honest I dont actually see a lot of text sp* on here.And my daughter uses it on msn and no I cant understand a bloody word she's typing.Its a whole new language theyve learnt which in my book makes them quite clever( :)( :).And no I dont give 2 monkeys if anyone uses a smiley a lol or anything else ,lighten up you DoDo's.

So long as you understand that I said I know that people who use txt spk AREN'T stupid. I just think it makes them look lazy. Learning a new language is a great thing, so long as one can still use the old language too.

PS - Thanks for people's support. I don't want to hijack thr thread though.

Doesn't anyone ever sleep? I see you've all been busy on here whilst I was having a wonderful dream about Clive Owen, but I'll spare you the details.

Thanks for the feedback, I'm glad I'm not alone with this one. I admit that my grammar/grammer/grandma may not always be perfect but I try my best & hopefully the spelling's usually korrekt! I do sometimes add smilies though, to emphasise the fact that I'm kidding, because, as we all know, things are often misconstrued on here.
