Bear in mind, however, that having no talent has not stopped Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell, Rebecca Loos, Jade Goody, and Abi Titmuss amassing multi-million pound fortunes in a very short space of time.

The only time I've actually found him funny was when he was a guest on Room 101. I thought he was tolerable on Shooting Stars, but I saw about three minutes of his new show for the first time last night.

Suffice it to say, three minutes was more than enough.

Well, his act is that he's an obnoxious slob with no talent whatsoever, so that's kind of the point. But it is just an act.

Exactly Obonio..I'm afraid good British television died ages ago..now we're in this  celebrity obsessed climate where the likes of Vegas,Big brother,Celebrity Love Island,to name but a few sadly pass for entertainment...I remember when we used to laugh at the stuff the Japanese used to churn out...

most definately, i think british culture has come to something when a man can be accepted as a succesful comedian when all he does is rely on hir repulsive weight and not too subtle childish innuendo to make people laugh!

Watched the first 10 mins of the show last week got bored with it & switched it over.Thought i'd give it a try last night.Got as far as watching the first 5 mins same thing happened got bored with it.So i switched it over to Have I Got News For You.

I have never really found Johnny Vegas that funny

All he does is gets drunk and shouts loud. He is an obnoxious eejit!

I don't like him either and I think that there are better "comedians" in the bars and clubs that never get recognised. All i will remember this guy for is for shouting "good monkey"  at a puppet used for an ITV advertisement a few years ago and even then it wasn't funny.
