I have an Acer Aspire 5315 laptop, on Vista.
Looking at the properties of my computer I notice that my drive C is almost full, but I also have a drive D which is empty. Is there a way of transferring some of my information from drive C to drive D.
Thanks in anticipation

Do you really have a drive D, or is referring to the cd drive, memory port or whatever. Just googled the make and only one hard drive shows.
It is a partitioned hard drive, so C and D are both referring to the hard drive.
LOL, same thing, different OS's hc:)

Denis,

both hc's and my suggestion do the same thing, if you have vista follow hc's, if XP follow mine

Thank you all for quick responses. I think I will try hc4361's suggestion tomorrow, the one Chuck suggests specifies XP so I am not sure about it working for Vista.
I will let you know how I get on.
