Samsung pixon wont let me call or text!!

Ive just got a samsung pixon, its from orange and the sim card ive put in is orange, it does come up with orange on the screen and says i have signal but when i try and text it says service unavailable, and if i try to ring anybody it says emergency calls only, also my phone numbers that are saved to my sim arent there, what am i doing wrong?!

Inserted the SIM upside down? Damaged the SIM?

Its contract, thats what i thought, I checked it was the right way around and i dont think ive damaged it as i literally took it out of one phone and put it in this one and also, just found that the internet still works!! Very confused!!

Talk to your phone company. Your SIM is obviously blocked. Not all SIMs/phones, are interchangeable.
