Using a laptop computer to do a presentation. In the normal situation what leads are required to connect the laptop to the data projector? Can it be done using just a usb lead?
The reason for asking the above is that the projector I have borrowed came without leads which apparently have been lost.
On the back panel of the projector, I can only a mini size usb marked "computer". I have a lead like that that goes into my digital camera, but when I use the laptop and projector connected with this lead, whilst the projector operates my images don't appear. There are some other small multiple pin "D" shaped female sockets on the projector and there is a corresponding sized socket on the laptop. Is this the kind of lead I require?
In addition, could I show pictures direct from a digital camera via this type of equipment?
