Garmin Sat Nav systems

My husband has just changed jobs and now needs a sat nav.
Technology is not my strong point but I had a long chat to a guy at Halfords and he strongly recommended a Garmin 265WT.
I've tried to check on line and most other retailers are quoting 255WT.

We prefer wide screen and European roads (and nothing too complicated)
Can anyone tell me in simple English the difference between the two and / or indeed my best option.

the 265 has bluetooth for handsfree calling

other than that i dont see a difference except the price.
