What was the name of the 70's or 80's children's programme (supposedly a "music" programme) hosted by Mr. Roy of Basil Brush fame which usually ended with Mr. Roy murdering a current pop hit?

I'm baffled, but if a name helps your search 'Mr Roy' would have been Roy North, now a classical actor who also does voice-overs for Sky TV.

I do vaguely remember 'Crackerjack' mercilessly slaughtering a pop song at the end of each edition, along with its 'Good News, Bad News' jokes and the Krankies!
