As long as you pay your rent, it shouldn't be their concern. Its nice they are concerned for you, but what you do is your own business. xx

Do let the housemates know it's not anything to do with them - your absences that is.

Just say it is nothing they said or did but that your out & about doing your own thing.

No need for them to fret about thinking they have annoyed you in some way.

That fretting might lead to being p1ssed off then escalate into anger.

I kind of know how you feel. I came to stay at my BF's last October because my boiler broke. I haven't been home since. I hate going back to get stuff in case I bump into my neighbours and get questioned. One of them is really nosey and asks questions about my ex. I don't want to have to explain why we split and who I'm with now.

I really need to go back to get my stuff though.....

Yeah it is a pain ummmm

Perhaps you will have to sneak home in the night...........

nah just kidding if you need your stuff go and get it go on be brave!

Its not right that you let your neighbours feel as though you can't go back to your own home though. They should really learn to mind their own business.

i can be a wonder woman in a schoolgirl outfit! problem solved.

C u live at 5!

hehe
umm, go home and get your stuff.

if the neighbours ask where youve been say that you were advised to move out due to all the contamination under the street. Ask them why their insurers didnt get them out as yours did.

Say that until its been declared safe youre being put up in the local top hotel :)
lol Red. I will be getting my stuff but at the moment I'm just using my house as a storage container. My BF has got a new kitchen and bathroom (if he ever flippin installs them) so when that's done we're going to get a removals firm and move the lot. My furniture is much nicer than his.

I'll be fooked if we split....!!
