80's Soul group / suggestions please

Hi. I'm trying to remember the the name of an English 80's soul band, who had hits around 1983. The name (I am sure) is a one word name, like Heatwave. I have this tune they made going through my head, but I can't remember any of the lyrics. It is not Imagination, Or Lynx, or Galaxy, or Shalamar. They were not as well known. Suggestions for one word 80's soul bands please.......

Nope. I think it's a lost cause. It just wasnt famous enough. Shame coz from what I remember it was a really nice tune. If I find it I shall post a link to youtube.
