For a pleasant experience when coming on here, I only joined id Feb, and I have seen a a big change in some attitudes,
Of cause you can't always be nicey-nice, wouldn't expect that, but what kind of example are we setting if a young person should come on here,,,,believe me I learnt that lesson.
I would like to think I respect all and would like the same afforded to me and I must say in most cases this happens, but do we really want to go down this road?

Hi Joy/Bobbisox! xxxx

Sounds like your weather has been better than ours Joy -

My poor Mum has early signs of dementia - she threw a wobblier today, because my Dad went out , she did'nt want to go because it was raining - then she rang me, saying she was ready to go out and could I pick her up. After I explained to her that Dad would now be on his way back, she said she was going to get a bus. We had the usual threatening to throw herself on the railway lines, then she cries and then I calmed her down.

It would be nice to come on CB for a light relief chat, but with all the numpties on there, I will turn to my bar of galaxy chocolate for comfort.

Have a nice evening Joy.

luv Den xx
Hi Den xxx

Sorry to hear about your mum, sweetheart....i'm here for a little while if you want to have a chat!
Weather down here on south coast has been awful so cancelled trip to zoo ...will go next week on friday 24th, as kids off from school ....off to the canary islands at the weekend, for club dates there, and the family coming out for a bit of r&r too. xxxx

Hiya Ian/Yogi

I remember those days when my son was little, we used to go to Colchester Zoo and Whipsnade - coming home with all those plastic animals we had bought in the gift shop !! Wiping elephants poo off your shoes before you got back into the car - oh happy days !!

Yes, its been quite an eventful day - my Mum off her trolley, my son (now 19) throwing up as I speak - too much drink last night - they went clubbing in Basildon.

I take it from your posts Yogi, you pay in a band - my brother-in-law also does gigs in clubs etc. Obviously I can't mention his name on here - he plays guitar and sings and comes from Billericay and he is 53. There are 3 members in the band.

Sorry, I am prattling on now. Thanks for listening.

Denise xx
friday is the 22nd, my grandson breaks up that day as next week is whit week and they are off for a week.

hi yogi my pet, sooooo good to see you, I.m sorry about your mum DEN,going now will def speak tomorrow x
Den.....sounds like you have your hands full....hope your mum improves and better soon, and your son too. .........the evils of plonk!

I dont play in a band now....did that for a short while, a long time ago, sweetheart, as i do play drums extremely well as come from a musical family...... i'm a dj and have been doing this full time, ever since i was 17....so been around a bit.......seen a lot in my time too! It's fun and i enjoy it a lot.....no greater feeling than seeing folk just enjoying themselves!

Yeah....our children love the zoo, youngest two especially but even the older two, as they really love to see the different types of cat family animals, especially the tigers!!

I love the bears, of course!

Fridge magnets and cuddly toys from the zoo shop are a must, and a ride on the train that goes around the zoo too.
We were due to go.......woke up to wind and rain here so put it off and went to Butlins at Bognor Regis instead for a day at Watersplashworld with the rides....great fun!
Really tired....as worked late on friday and saturday nights so will just chill out tommorrow and may see you on here, i hope.
Hope you're well, my lovely and take care.

Love Yogi xxxx
