I had an awful credit history in Uk, CCJs and an unpaid bank loan, also Credit card non payments until 2005, since then I have avoided all letters and have lived in Asia for 3 years - just want some information how long until this terrible history is wiped? I may return to Uk soon and want to get some information. Many thanks!!

what makes you think debts are "wiped"? untill you pay, you will alwayd owe the money
Usually all credit history (good or bad) is removed after six years. However, if they were to contact you within the six years, in a sense, the six years starts again from the last contact with you.
