off out to ASDA that'll really cheer me up !
knobby's hallucinating again................
Pamper yourself- even if if is just a long hot soak in the bath or a bar of chocolate or something delicious to eat. Pampering of self need not always cost much at all. Watch something uplifting like Mama Mia or whatever else that floats your boat ( a happy heartwarming film or comedy), or maybe read a funny book, or search the internet for jokes or inspirational quotes. Chat with a friend- good to take comfort in one's friends especially if they are upbeat + or good listeners. Laughter is one of the best medicines, for sure. Surround your good self with company that will raise your spirits. Keep warm. Think of happy memories or happy thoughts. Write a list of all that you are grateful for. Be dynamic in changing your mood- imagine a good friend was feeling low + what you would say to them. Also, know that this moment will pass. Stay clear of anyone negative or any negativity like say watching the news. Keep to the positives only. Good luck + rooting for you big time christine847. Gentle hugs, Bea
Excuse me just read about your dad- no wonder you feel low. Try to encourage him or even other loved ones to encourage him to go to hospital. Will pray about this for you.

Pick up a treat of two for you at ASDA.

Warm wishes, Bea
thanks bea....you've just reminded me of the huge Galaxy bar in the fridge...........
Sorry, treat or two meant to have said. Brain not working that well today.

Hang on in there.
christine847, I'm sorry to hear that your dad is ill and hope you manage to get him to hospital. Take care.
Hi chrissy hun.......you need to have a good chat with your dad. Let him know how precious he is to you,and how important it is that he get care for his illness. He may be either afraid or just stubborn-only you can come close to answering that-but he needs to know that you worry and want the best for him.
Best of luck-and I hope JJ's awful jokes at least took the edge off
