Hi there - I have a dress which has a couple of stains on it. I do not know the exact material of the dress as cut the label off but know I have to wash it with a non biological washing powder. It is a kind of t shirt material but finer. Anyway I seem to have got a few stains on it - kind of grease stains I am sure from pizza. I have tried ironing with bit of brown paper over the stain but this did not work. Does anyone have any other suggestions. Many thanks

i use stuff call de-solv-it and its brilliant, spray on leave for half hour and wash off, you get it from any supermarket or wilkinsons and its in a can the size of a body spray and in the washing powder aisle.

thanks gina I shall have a look out for it.
Rub some fairy liquid neat into the stain and leave it for a good while before putting it in the wash

Fairy cuts through the grease and should remove the stain
