Getting Signed Shirt

I would really like to get my boyfriend an Arsenal shirt, signed by the team for his birthday. I have been warned off buying one off the internet as you have no way to tell if it is genuine, even with a COA. Someone suggested I could turn up to the training ground and try and grab some of the players with a pen on their way out. Does anyone know if I would actually be able to do that or if not have any other ideas how to get one?

Try your local charity shops
Have you actually asked Arsenal themselves?

I don't know what the big premiership teams do but smaller sides will happily arrange a signed shirt for anyone provided they pay the cost of the shirt.

I suspect the big boys maybe don't but you won't know until you try.

Thanks for the Answers. I am after this seasons shirt so don't really fancy my chances in a charity shop.

I e-mailed the club yesterday just before posting this question and am waiting for a reply. I didn't realise the small clubs do that so hopefully Arsenal will too.
