Any idea where I can buy cold water washing powder ? The British housewife rejected it in the 1950s, but it seems a good time for it to return.

We've had these powders for years in Spain and I think they are just the same for England. Ariel is one, Surf, Bold and Persil also.  Don't forget that even in warmish washes detergent powder does not completely dissolve - so using any liquid detergent on a cold wash would be fine.
