Probably my family tree stuff. It represents 20 odd years of research and it's the thing I would want to grab if the house burned down.

Failing that, I have some beautiful jewellery which a very close friend of mine bought me. I hide it in different places (rather than just put it in my jewellery box) and I end up having a right panic every few months when I "forget" where its hiding place is.

Hey Barmaid - I always carry my jewellery in a little box in my handbag when I'm travelling back and forth. I never ever put it in my suitcase, in case I lose it one day. You must also be very proud of your family tree stuff. I would love to do some research on my family, as, by all accounts, there are some very interesting people among my ancestors.

Christine and Craft - there is no bigger space in my own heart than the one occupied by my little dog! He's a cross between a cocker spaniel and a red setter. He looks like Bambi!

Hello zzxxee - my nan is a great baker, too. She makes everything herself, including her own butter, Baileys and Sloe Gin. x
