And I read it all. It was all the usual stuff you would expect. I thought some of it was quite funny. But I think Tony Barrett was wrong with his opening comments on the match report. He implied that Fergie didn't speak to the TV because of the ******, but I don't think that was the case. Fergie had refused to talk to any Tv before the game as well. I don't know what was up with him, but I don't think the result was the reason. Two other things came to mind after that game whilst reading the Echo. Several times this season, Liverpool have been booed off their own ground by their own fans. Also, after Liverpool lost 2-0 to Boro, there were countless Scousers on the Radio 5 LIve phone-in, demanding that Benitez get sacked, and he had lost the plot. That from his own fans. How fickle the fans are after one result eh?

I think he had the hump with Sky because of the early kick off , because United played on Wednesday and Liverpool played on Tuesday !

He had the hump because his "world champions" had just been humiliated at the theatre of screams 4-1.
And what was all that about with the singer before kick off?
Joke club.
I always appreciate Steve.5's unbiased views.....
Steve.5 copied my explanation - then added the bit that I was too diplomatic to write : )

Didn't Littlepool have a seven point lead whilst United were winning the 'World club Championship'
