Windows button Vista

Eyesight not being all it should be I resized the fonts in Vista to 106DPI rather than the default 96 or the over large option of 120. Everything absolutley fine and exactly as I would like to keep it except the Start button or Windows button as it's now known isn't wide enough to show the switch off, hibernate, stand-bye etc. Is there a way to resize this?

Try holding the Ctrl button whilst pressing the plus(+)button on numbers section (right hand side) of keyboard.
