Redcrx - don't you think children are more open-minded and therefore more predisposed to these 'sightings'?

We as adults have had it drummed into us by our own parents that there are no such things as ghosts. Plus, if you do believe in reincarnation, surely kids have a much stronger link with the spirit world because they have only just 'come back' here.

When I lost my bro, I went through a crisis of faith, and ended up buying a book called "Between Death and Life - Conversations with a Spirit" by Dolores Cannon.

She is a regressionist who, one day, accidentally regressed somone to a point where they were 'in between lives'. At first she was too shocked to ask questions, or even realise how she had managed to take the subject back to that point, but after sometime, she began to venture further. What her subjects said about life on 'the other side' and our whole reason for being here was truly awesome.

off out for a bit -going to see if any ghosts in brighton!! c u later on x
its certainly something to think about and with little CRX he always had a look about him that hed been here before.
From tiny he spoke about people in the house (his grandad died when he was 4 months old) and he'd often talk about the man.
He also on occasion talks in a very old fashioned way, hard to explain but says things like "yes, it is so"
i dont encourage any of it, or try to make him stop, i just listen to what he has to say and make sure hes not frightened by any of it.
The strange thing is, because we dont call ghosts by that term (we use another northern term that many have never heard) i know that he cant be getting info from others around him, friends or their parents etc.
The other night, he was poorly and i kept getting up to him. I just got back into bed and closed my eyes (was fully awake) and something dark crossed in front of my eyes. I thought it odd but couldnt explain it. he then cried and i went into him again and told him to close his eyes. he said he didnt want to "because 'ghosts' keep whooshing in front of my eyes when i close them"
I must toddle off, too. But this is a terrific thread, and a subject I could witter on about for hours, so I will come back and check it later! xx
