Can anyone advise me what I need to buy to download Nintendo DS games from the internet. I believe it is some sort of memory stick card/stick.

Its a micro sd card and reader that you need. Cheap to buy on e-bay (�5 - �10). Then for using the games you need an R4 adaptor.
