Does it not say on the form / guidance notes what the requirements are for it to be valid?

Unfortunately there are no guidance notes on the general power of attorney form.
If it's the green form there are notes - re filing in Court after 3months etc. It should be witnessed by solicitor or GP.

It is a cream form General power of Attorney but says at the bottom of the frontispiece
Conveyancing 36 and seems to me to be mostly about property which confuses me.
