Why does a 70 year-old woman suddenly start receiving large numbers of e-mails offering Russian brides? Any one else in the same boat? Needless to say, I haven't opened any of the e-mails so don't really know what it is all about!

i suspect they may have got your email adress through some sort of phishing scam.

 did that help ?
Unscupulous people can get access to thousands of e-mail addresses, and they simply 'scattergun' their scam to every address on the list. The law of averages says that a sufficient number of people will reply, so it doesn't matter to them to whom the addresses belong.

That's why you will get these sort of mails - just delete them.
Did they go straight to your junk box DSJ? if they did i think you can report them. Or can you send them to your junk box and then report them andy?
DSJ........if the Russian women are under 90yrs old, then forward their emails to me LOL
I get a large number of emails (from myself apparently) offering ways to enlarge my d***. and I don't even have one!!
Noy sure dot.

I know you need to avoid spam like the plague, because some of them come in with viruses attatched.
I've been getting them too and I'm female!!!

And also some from "single Rose" which I nearly opened as I have a friend called Rose singleton.

The e-mails are deleted immediately. I just wonder why I seem to be targeted several times a day. It's not as if I get any advertising Russian bridegrooms!
