Getting back to the original post......... (forgive me)
It did occur to me (cynical that I am) that this could be a con. However, when I rationalised it, I understood that this is no con, since there are too many people "in the know". If it was such a con, I have no doubt that the true prognosis would have been "leaked". I think the true situation is that she does only have weeks to go. No consultant can give a true "x number of weeks" prognosis - all they can give is the prognosis that it is terminal and an estimated time. I hope that if Jade is lucky enough to survive beyond May, she will not be villified as fake since there is no certainty where terminal cancer is concerned. My aunt was given only weeks to live in early 2006 and she died at Christmas 2008 having considerably exceeded her doctors' expectations.
