Facebook - name change

I set up a facebook account mainly for my husband to use. I used my email account to do it and the facebook account/display name is my name which is also the main part of my email address (I hope I am making this understandable!). However I would now like to change the facebook name to his name but still use my email account.
The surname would remain the same just the first name would change.
Do facebook allow this?

click settings in the top right select account settings and click change just above to your name.

I tried that Chuck and it says that you have to use your own name. It also says that they check every name change. Might this jeopardise my account?

yes there is a 24 hour wait no-knowledge but that doesn't bother me. I just needed to check whether the name-change would wreck the account.

Ah - no prob cab though now i don't know what chico means!

You can change you name without any danger to your account... it's your email you need to be careful of changing as thats what you use to log in.
