for face, clinique's dramatically different moisturiser is great

for body, go into boots & pick up a vat of really cheap stuff & just put tons on

Best one I know of is simple Aqueous Cream.  It's really cheap and you can use it anywhere other than your face, which deserves something a bit more classy!
I use olay , facial wash , shower gel , & moisturiser.
My sister hates it though, says it feels greasy.
E45 cream / lotion for rest of body.
I would also recommend e45 cream. cheap too.
Bach - Rescue Cream - brilliant stuff

Everyone is diffent - I'm allergic to Olay and St Ives. Sunscreen is in a lot of creams, and is helpful, but also an allergen for some. Same goes for lanolin.

Products like cleansers with oatmeal are good for dry skins, so they're less uncomfortable to begin with.

I like the gloopiest one I can find, and like to have a protective layer if I'm out in the cold - but obviously that's a problem if you want to wear foundation.

Ho Hum!

My favourite was Avon's Milk Comfort but they've discontinued it - typical.

Anyway, I decided the best moisturiser is one you actually USE every day!!!  Whether it's Rubenstein or Nivea.

Im also allergic to Oil Of Olay and Estee Lauder. I've been using cocoa butter for about 3 years..Brill.  Only 1-00 a pot as well.
I have a sensitive skin and swear by Astral moisturiser. It's great, especially for the face and a good price as well.  Another good range is Liz Earle's cleanse and moisturise products (though more expensive) but well worth trying for good results.
Liz Earle, deffo
I use "Castrol GTX" or any good 20/W50!!!!
Oh yes and WD40-- Every lady knows what that is!
Its not really a good idea to use E45 or Aqueous cream unless you have an extreme case of dry skin i.e. Eczema - if used as a moisturiser everyday your skin beings to rely on it so if you don't use it, the dry skin is worse. Nivea soft is pretty good and the original blue tub is good for v dry skin.

Dr.Haushka Rose cream.Absolute magic.16 a tube.

vaseline intensive care. very cheap too.
