how can I disable frostwire from start up, when I log on it proceeds to take over the pute ,it opens up without me requesting it,( and then even if I want to use it ,a firewall is in place which I cant seem to get rid off,its a hit and a miss if I succeed in running it)but getting back to the original question how do I put a stop to it stating up and displaying the home web page thanks

Start - run

Type

msconfig

in the box, click the 'startup' tab and untick frostwire

Thanks Ethel did what you said worked a treat ,any ideas about the second part of the question sometimes the firewall is disabled in frostwire and mostly it is on stopping me from using frostwire ,I only have windows own firewall in place and have ticked the exception box allowinf frostwire to be used Thanks again

I take it that frostwire is similar to Limewire? (Better off with Torrents eg Torrentman and BitLord?).

I suggest you Google 'frostwire' and look at all the help they give.
