Windows Live Messenger

I took my desktop computer back to factory settings,and now when I put the Live Messenger on at the top of the messenger are icons to press on to talk to your friend i.e.telephone icon you press on to reach your friend an see his image on your computer.
But on the new format of messenger there is no telephone icon so you can't get to talk to your friend,has anyone on answerbank any ideas on how I can talk to him and see him on the computer.

Go to Actions > call a contacts computer or start a video call

Thankyou BillySugger,weeal,ChuckFickens & Bathsheba,I have been to the Logitech Website to find answers there as well and I've downloaded new updates for my webcam so I am going to try it now.
