Can't find it now, but someone on here was complaining that there was nowt worth watching on TV and they were going to start listening to the radio. This afternoon there was a play on Radio 4 about the Piper Alpha oil rig fire, and it was the most enthralling thing I have ever heard on the radio. I actually got home (after hearing it in the car) and found an old radio and managed to hear the last bit of it.

There are some treasures on the radio. Listen out for panel games and comedy shows too, if that's your sort of thing

I usually only listen when driving. I have got right into the Archers, and get the story update sent to me by email!
:)

I listen to the radio over the internet with the headphone on - the BBC listen again service is excellent
There are loads of good plays on radio 4, - I listen all the time. My 14 yr old listen to the Piper Alpha one with me - it was terrible but fantastic if you know what I mean.

Radio 4 is good for comedy too :o)

Of course! The listen again thingy! I missed the beginning of the play, so I can now go and listen to it.
