I know crisps are bad for you but I love them!!  Which ones are "best" to eat eg, lower in calories/fat etc

Quakers do potato/maize things that are baked instead of fried and they're v nice.  Available from tesco
Things like Skips, Wotsits, Quavers etc are usually lower in calories and fat than 'normal' crisps.
french fries are about the lowest in fat. (walkers I think)
What about those Potatohead crisps - they're supposed to be quite a bit lower in fat - and they're quite yummy.

Crisp expert here:

Quavers (less than 100 calories), Wotsits (ditto), Skips, French Fries, Monster Munch (not massive bags though).

Don't bother with 'low fat' crisps - they seem to have loads - under 100 cals and under 5g fat is the 'better' crisp.

Of course, you could have an apple instead (!!!)

Also the "Baked Not Fried" tag is misleading. Twiglets and Mini Chedders are both "Baked Not Fried" and as high in fat as crisps.
The Special K ones are nice (my son has a few as a treat) - less than 8% of fat per bag I think.  Normally 1.99 for a pack of six.  VERY addictive though!  Be warned!

Boots Shapers Salt and Vinegar Sticks are delicious and low in fat, under 96 calories but the 'best' crisps unfortunately aren't low in fat, they are Tayto Cheese and Onion and they are the business.
