knocking from front hub citreon zx

Hello i have a loud knocking noise coming from the front passenger side of my zx if i turn the wheel....there seems to be a bit of play on the wheel as well
( at 3/9 o clock positions)
ive had new ball joints and wheel bearings ....has anybody got any ideas expensive? only need the car for 9 more months....Thanks in advance

U/Js need replacing.

sorry.. but i say ball joints have been replaced.... i think they are cv joints just different names...thanks tho' for reply

not necesserally, could be there is play in the wheel bearing.

could be either wheel bearings gone, play in the track rod end, inner rack or broken road spring.
